How the Boober platform works

1. As a provider on the boober platform, you will be in business for yourself and practicing the way you prefer using boober to help you get matched to prospective customers. You set your rates, decide what's included in your visits, and even use your own contracts (but we do offer some tips and best practices for contracts). 
2. Customer payments are collected through the boober platform and then transferred directly to your bank account. Providers can easily view and manage all of their boober bookings as well as their profile and practice information through their boober dashboard.
3. There are no upfront costs, subscription fees, or hidden charges. Providers simply pay a platform fee for each booking that is brought to you through boober, so you only ever pay for jobs that you are getting paid on and the fee is automatically deducted from your payout on the booking. Current platform fees are as follows: 

• Birth doulas 20%; BIPOC doulas 15%
• Postpartum doulas 25%; BIPOC doulas 20%
• Lactation support 30%; BIPOC lactation professionals 25%
• All other services are 25% for the initial visit and 10% for follow-up visits (on-going); BIPOC providers 15% for initial visit and 10% for follow-up visits (on-going).

- With our platforms fees in mind, you are more than welcome to adjust your rates to accommodate for the fees. We will also in some rare cases reduce the platform fee to accommodate a particular situation.
