Birth Payout Schedule

This page explains Boober's updated payout structure for providers. Below, you’ll find a summary of key changes, example calculations, and payout details.

Policy Changes Summary (as of date)

• Payout Schedule: First payout remains the same, but the 2nd payout is now sent after the provider submits an exit survey following the birth (previously sent at 36 weeks).
• Payout Calculation: Payout calculations remain the same as the previous structure.

Example Agreement

Here’s an example agreement to illustrate the payout structure:

• Contract Value: $2,500
• Travel Fee: $200
• Boober Fee: 20% of the contract value ($500)
• Total Provider Payouts: $2,200

1st Birth Payout (No Changes)

The first payout is sent after the customer completes payment for the booking. The payout calculation is as follows:

• Half of the contract value: $1,250
• Half of the travel fee: $100
• Minus Boober’s fee: -$500
• Total: $1250 + $100 - 500 = $850

2nd Birth Payout (Changes)

The second payout is now sent after the provider submits an exit survey following the birth. Previously, it was sent at 36 weeks. The payout calculation is as follows:

• Half of the contract value: $1,250
• Half of the travel fee: $100
• Total: $1250 + $100 = $1,350

Payout Summary

Here’s a breakdown of your total payouts:

• 1st Payout: $850 (sent after the customer completes payment).
• 2nd Payout: $1,350 (sent after provider submits exit survey).
• Total Payouts: $850 + $1,350 = $2,200
