sos!

You’re in pain, your nipples are cracked, you’re worried your baby isn’t getting enough milk, your doctor said you need to supplement with formula, you’re feeling overwhelmed with nursing or pumping—any or all of the above. Maybe you’re thinking about giving up? If you’re having significant complications with breastfeeding (pain, poor weight gain in baby, injury to your nipples or breast, low milk supply, plugged ducts or mastitis, or other complications), a Level 2 Lactation Professional, with the highest level of certification (IBCLC, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), can help.

feeding with confidence

(and a little fine-tuning)

You’ve been breastfeeding for a little while (or a long while), but now you’re experiencing some discomfort or doubts about how it’s going, or you’re switching gears (e.g., adding a bottle or starting to pump). From fine-tuning positioning to adjusting the latch, a Level 1 Lactation Professional will offer the customized support you need to continue feeding with confidence.

back-to-work

You’re getting ready to go back to work while breastfeeding or pumping (or both). A Lactation Professional will offer tips to make this big transition as smooth as possible, helping you create a personalized plan tailored to your specific work environment, work hours, and how your baby feeds. A Back-to-Work consultation can support any working-parent situation, whether you’re a freelancer who only works away from home occasionally, have a 9 to 5, and/or sometimes take a days-long business trip. Ideally scheduled at least 4 weeks before you return to work.

breast start

Your first hands-on breastfeeding lesson, offered within the first couple days of baby’s birth. Support from a Lactation Professional in the crucial first days can reduce pain and worry, and help milk flow. Perfect for while you’re still in the hospital or when you just get home!

For many, breastfeeding is easy and it goes just fine. For others, breastfeeding is full of challenges. When you get personalized help early on, you can learn to avoid common pitfalls, ensure that you make enough milk to feed your baby, and enjoy breastfeeding, which really can be comfortable and pleasant rather than painful and hard.

Let us help you get breastfeeding off to the best possible start!

what about price?

Because all Lactation Professionals set their own rates you can expect some variation in pricing, which is why we don't display pricing on the website. Even for the same general services, the price can vary based on the Lactation Professional that is providing your care. During the intake process we will discuss the available options and your budget to find the right provider for you. Your Lactation Professional will then charge you directly when they provide service.

Our goal is to help all parents in need of breastfeeding support so please contact us even if pricing is a concern and we will try to match you to a provider or other appropriate resources.

The service you provided me changed my life. Eden is an absolute angel. My mindset today is so positive compared to yesterday. THANK YOU!!!

– Maria, mom of 3-day old

On average, people call 5 or more lactation consultants, and usually don’t get an appointment for 2 to 3 days. boober finds you someone NOW.

It was such a lifeline during a challenging time. I can’t imagine where we’d be without the support from that visit and the quick response time. Can’t recommend them enough!!!
